General information about visa and entry to Cambodia
Swedish citizens need a visa to travel to Cambodia. The simplest option is a Visa on Arrival which costs 30 USD for a tourist visa and entitles you to stay for up to 30 days.
Since January 2025 it is also mandatory to complete the Cambodia e-Arrival Card (CeA) no later than 7 days before you fly to Cambodia. The card is a digital arrival card that replaces the old paper form and must be approved before you land. It applies to all international airports in Cambodia, including Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Sihanoukville.

What is the Cambodia e-Arrival Card?
Cambodia e-Arrival Card (CeA) is Cambodia's mandatory digital arrival card that all air travellers must complete no later than 7 days before arrival. The system was launched in January 2025 and replaces the previous paper form. The card must be complete and approved before you land.

Do I need a visa to Cambodia as a Swedish citizen?
Yes, Swedish citizens need a visa to Cambodia. The simplest option is a Visa on Arrival which costs 30 USD upon arrival and is valid for tourist trips of up to 30 days. You can also apply for an e-Visa online in advance. In addition to the visa you must also have completed the mandatory e-Arrival card.
How long can I stay in Cambodia?
With a Visa on Arrival or e-Visa you can stay for up to 30 days. For longer stays you can apply for an extension at Cambodia's immigration authorities in Phnom Penh.
What does the e-Arrival assistance cost?

Do I need vaccinations for Cambodia?
No mandatory vaccinations are required for travellers from Sweden. Hepatitis A and B, Typhoid and Japanese encephalitis are however strongly recommended. Always check current health recommendations from the relevant health authority before departure.
Can I work in Cambodia with a Visa on Arrival?
No, Visa on Arrival and tourist visas are only valid for tourism and shorter visits. For work in Cambodia a separate work visa (Business Visa, type E) is required, which must be applied for through an employer in Cambodia.
How long does the e-Arrival assistance take?
We fill in and review your e-Arrival card within 1 working day (Standard) or 3 hours (VIP). You then receive the confirmation by email which you present upon arrival in Cambodia.
