When do you need embassy legalisation for Egypt?

When SCU, ETA, Civil Status or Real Estate Publicity requires an embassy stamp on a Swedish original. Apostille does not certify authenticity for Egypt. An e-visa is not the step.

FAQ | legalisation for Egypt

Is apostille enough for Egypt?
No. Egypt is not in the Hague Convention. The documents need MFA and the Embassy of Egypt in Stockholm.
Must the document be translated first?
MFA does not require Arabic for the stamp. SCU and ETA often still want authorized Arabic. We can combine both in a package.
What does legalisation for Egypt cost?
Basic SEK 2,495, Priority SEK 2,950, VIP SEK 3,750 per document in our fee. The embassy’s own tariff may be added.
