A quick overview of the process and the most important documents.

General information about Nigeria visas

A Nigeria visa is required for Swedish citizens and the application is made before departure. Your choice of visa type determines which documents are needed and how long you can stay.

The most common types are tourist/visiting visa, business visa, Temporary Work Permit (TWP) and Subject to Regularization (STR) for employment. Tourist and visiting visas are normally valid for 3 months with one entry and up to 60 days' stay.

Business visas can be issued for single or multiple entries: single entry is usually valid for 3 months, while multi-entry is often valid for 6 or 12 months with up to 90 days per entry. TWP is for shorter specialist assignments and is normally valid for 3 months with one entry and up to 90 days in the country.

STR is used for employment in Nigeria and leads to a residence permit (CERPAC) after arrival. We help you step by step: order, upload documents and let us review everything before the application is submitted. Questions? Contact us or read our frequently asked questions.
