General information about entry to the Philippines
Swedish citizens do not need a visa to travel to the Philippines. As an EU citizen you can travel visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism, business visits and shorter stays. The stay can be extended on site through the Bureau of Immigration.

What is eTravel for the Philippines?

Do I need a visa to the Philippines as a Swedish citizen?
No, Swedish citizens do not need a visa to the Philippines. As an EU citizen you can travel visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism, business visits and shorter stays. You do however need to have an approved eTravel registration before you travel. We handle that for you!
How long can I stay in the Philippines?
Swedish citizens can stay in the Philippines for up to 30 days without a visa. The stay can be extended by 2 months per extension, up to a maximum of 2 years, by visiting the Bureau of Immigration on site in the Philippines.
What does the eTravel assistance cost?

Do I need vaccinations for the Philippines?
No mandatory vaccinations are required for travellers from Sweden. Hepatitis A and B, typhoid and tetanus are recommended. For travel outside major cities, malaria prophylaxis may be relevant. Always check current health recommendations from the relevant health authority before departure.
What is the QR code from eTravel?
After an approved eTravel registration you receive a QR code that you must show at boarding and upon arrival in the Philippines. A green QR code means everything is correct and you can proceed directly to passport control. A red QR code means additional health checks are required. We ensure your registration is correct from the start so that you receive a green QR code.
