TDAC or visa?

TDAC is mandatory for everyone entering Thailand, whether you need a visa or not. Swedes can stay up to 60 days without a visa (visa exemption), but TDAC must be filled in before entry. For longer stays or specific purposes, a visa is required.

Overview

How it works for Thailand

Swedish citizens can travel to Thailand without a visa for up to 60 days, but from May 1, 2025, TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) is mandatory for everyone. TDAC must be filled in online before entry, otherwise you will be denied boarding. For longer stays, work, studies or retirement in Thailand, a visa is required. Thailand is one of our most popular destinations and we know exactly what is required for a smooth entry.

From order to ready entry for Thailand

The usual chain from review to return. Expand a step if you want more detail.

Choose TDAC or visa and upload passport copy. We tell you immediately if something is missing.

  2. 2 We review your details

We check that the passport is valid, that the address in Thailand is correct and that everything is filled in according to Thai authority requirements.

  3. 3 We apply for TDAC or visa

For TDAC we apply online for you. For a visa we prepare all documents and submit at the Thai Embassy.

  4. 4 TDAC by email or visa in passport

TDAC comes by email. The visa is placed in the passport after processing.

  5. 5 Confirmation before departure

We notify you when everything is ready. For TDAC you should have the confirmation available at check-in.

Important

TDAC is not a visa

TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) is a mandatory arrival card, not a visa. It is required for all arrivals, even those traveling visa-free. Without a completed TDAC you can be denied boarding or entry. We make sure your TDAC is correctly filled in.
