Which paper to send
A registreringsbevis comes from Bolagsverket. It shows that the company exists, the organisation number, the board and, on the usual extract, who may sign for the firm. That is the paper a bank or a foreign register almost always names first.
The bolagsordning is the rule book: the business, the share capital and how the company is signed for. The copy Bolagsverket has registered is the one that can be stamped. The file in a folder at your office is not that paper.
A board minute is a decision, for example a new signatory or an agent abroad. People signed it. Bolagsverket did not issue it. It sits closer to a power of attorney, and a notary usually comes before the apostille.
The letter rarely says bolagsdokument. Certificate of incorporation and certificate of good standing usually mean the registreringsbevis. Articles of association mean the bolagsordning. Board resolution means the minute. Send the letter, and we will say which papers it actually names.
We do not decide whether the company may do the deal. The office that asked for the papers does. We put the language and the stamp on what Bolagsverket or the board already issued.
Send the paper original. The apostille sits on each original they want stamped, not on the translation. A PDF you print at home is a copy, and the copy is the wrong paper. Order the paper extract from Bolagsverket.
Several papers can sit in one case. Each paper they must read is translated on its own. A standard document costs the same as for a private person. A long annual report is priced by its length. A company can ask for an invoice with its organisation number.
