When do you need embassy legalisation for Ghana?

When the Registrar-General, GRA, GTEC or Lands Commission requires an embassy stamp on a Swedish original. Apostille does not certify authenticity for Ghana. A visa is not the step.

FAQ | legalisation for Ghana

Is apostille enough for Ghana?
No. Ghana is not in the Hague Convention. The documents need MFA and the Embassy of Ghana in Stockholm.
Must the document be translated first?
MFA does not require English for the stamp. RGD and GRA often still want authorized English when the original is in Swedish. We can combine both in a package.
What does legalisation for Ghana cost?
Basic SEK 2,495, Priority SEK 2,950, VIP SEK 3,750 per document in our fee. The embassy’s own tariff may be added.
