When do you need embassy legalisation for Nepal?

When DoNIDCR, IRD, UGC, Malpot or OCR requires an embassy stamp. Apostille does not certify authenticity for Nepal. Visa on arrival is not the step.

FAQ | legalisation for Nepal

Is apostille enough for Nepal?
No. Nepal is not in the Hague Convention. The documents need MFA and the Embassy of Nepal in Copenhagen.
Must the document be translated first?
MFA does not require Nepali for the stamp. Nepali recipients often still want authorized Nepali, not Hindi. We can combine both in a package.
What does legalisation for Nepal cost?
Basic SEK 2,495, Priority SEK 2,950, VIP SEK 3,750 per document in our fee. The embassy’s own tariff may be added.
